The platform fosters collaboration across participating agencies and departments, providing the real-time information exchange critical to first responders.

Easy to implement, I-3 Exchange accepts data in the most widely accepted open standard for Internet data exchange, called eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and complies with the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) (formerly Global Justice XML Data Model (GJXDM)) standard reporting requirements for justice and public safety communities.
